This piece was created using mixed techniques on canvas. Like many of Maksym’s other paintings, the present piece is abstract and the multiple layers of paint and techniques used make it this way. The dark blue tone that covers the majority of the canvas contrasts against the grey, brown and colourful splashes of paint coming out from behind. The use of mixed technique and media, such as pasting ripped paper to the canvas, gives it a three-dimensional effect.
